I told Nichole to go clean up her toys and she tells me "I don't want to clean, I'm NOT a child!"

Either ways she loses. You as a the parent are telling her to clean up the toys. So if she plays the role of child she has to clean up the toys. If she "is not a child" I assume she is saying she is a "big girl or grownup" which if the child refuses to pick up the toys the adult ends up picking them up eventually. So either way looks like Nichole is picking up toys! :)

Sean will destroy the house with his toys, then says (in a whining voice), "I can't do it" when it is time to clean up. I just tell him that I will take a garbage bag and throw out any toys that are left on the floor. He usually will pick up the toys at this point..

we have done that, we don't "throw them away" but I take them away for a minimum of 3 days. She usually doesn't care anymore. I have kept toys for 2 weeks before she even starts asking about htem. Maybe we have too many toys! lol
So what happened next Kaytee? :)
