| Welcome to JustParents – Parenting Discussion Community |
| By registering and participating in the discussions, you agree to the following rules and guidelines:
Usernames: • Choose your username wisely when registering. Usernames that contain letters or numbers that can easily be confused with a negative meaning will not be allowed. Full discretion is made by the staff of this site. This issue is not debatable. • You may not register with a username that contains your domain name (i.e. yousite.com, yoursite.net, etc.). Signatures: • A maximum of one URL may be listed in your signature. Subject to pre-approval. • Up to four images may be included in your signature (including smilies). • One photo image not to exceed 500 x 500 in size is allowed. • Text must be normal size. No size= code is allowed. Reputation System: The reputation system at JustParents allows you to give positive as well as negative reputation points to other members based on the quality of the threads and posts they make. We do not regularly monitor the reputation system, however... • Abuse of the reputation system is not tolerated. • Please choose wisely when giving reputation. It cannot be modified or removed. • Do not use the reputation system to retaliate against another member due to their posts and/or any negative reputation you may have received. • Reputation is an indication (although not definitive) of how someone is perceived on the forum. The more reputation points someone has indicates they post quality messages as perceived by those giving them reputation. This is not an indication that someone is a good parent or not. • We will not remove reputation points from any member unless it is found that negative reputation that was provided was done so in violation of the above rules. Additionally, under no circumstances may you: • Spam our members for commercial or non-commercial reasons. If you think you have been spammed by a member, please contact us, with complete header information. • Harvest the e-mail addresses of our members for commercial or non-commercial reasons. • Ask other members to contact you, nor may you request their contact information. If a member has not enabled a form of contact, assume that member does not want to be contacted. We enforce a very strict policy regarding solicitation of our membership by forum participants. Please contact us if you have any questions about these policies. We Have to Say It. • Be polite to all members and staff. You won't always agree with what is posted or the decisions of the staff, however you need to understand that... • Rudeness, flaming, trolling, or any messages (via the forum, e-mail, or PM) that constitute a personal attack will not be tolerated. You'll only get one warning. • Don't post libelous or defamatory comments. We will cooperate with court orders. • Do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. • Please don't post a message saying, "I need information about whatever. Please e-mail me at myname@myservice.com." Asking people to answer your questions via e-mail defeats the purpose of public discussion. • Participants may not use the forum to publicly debate the forum policies listed here. Such messages will be deleted without comment. If you have a concern or complaint about the way the forum is run, please contact us. • Participants should use common sense. We don't have a written policy for everything. We don't intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within those posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined both here and on the forum. We reserve the right to remove posts at our discretion and without explanation and to limit or terminate service to participants who violate the terms of this agreement. If you have any questions, please contact us. How you can help. • If you spot a violation of these guidelines, please use the Report this post link inside the post.
