There are three initiatives Ive got cookin: 1) Get 4-h to adjust their policies to address this and I have already seen much change. They really failed to notify parents. I am meeting with their Leaders Council and OSU Extension management on Wednesday. I have been contacted by a number of 4-h leaders (two who have been victims themselves) and we plan to really have a heart to heart with them. 2) I am working with my county supervisor to get the building marked -- warning signs etc. Then putting the pressure on to get the facility moved. 3) Finally, I've got some new language for state law to not allow this to happen again. We need to make sure that counties cannot do this again. Will keep you updated! BL |

You have my support and prayers and I most definitely am looking forward to the day when you can post about the facility being moved. It really should be something that happens soon and it sounds like with your help and with assistance from Jenilouise and others, that will happen.
