I can imagine! I sure don't want to be cut open, sounds really painful. But its good you made peace, if you are a right candidate for VBAC then I think you should do it, but not everyone can.

I think more can then they allow to try but you're right there are still plenty who can't

oh totolly. There are hospitals out there still that won't let you know matter what. Unless you lie or go in with baby crowning. Its ridiculous. When its proven to be safer for these woman, let them go. If its safer to have a c-section, then that is the way to go.

Did they explain that they will only do 3-4 c-sections? Are you guys planning to have more kids?

we aren't planning on having anymore but my doc said in his practice they do not limit the number of sections they will do. He says ever woman is different so it's ridiculous to put a number on how many everyone can handle

REALLY???? Thats bizzare. I mean only because i have always heard that it isn't safe to do more than 4 due to the increasing chance of a rupture.

I know women who have had 6, it all just depends on the how each woman heals and the cut used. There's an increased chance of rupture every time you have a CS but it all comes down to how your uterus holds up...LOL
