Default Freaking out!!

Before I tell you this I will tell you Brian thought I intended to deliver at McKenzie Willamette- which is what I wanted. My midwives work out of Sacred Heart though so I am supposed to deliver there. So Brian and I was talking last night and he tells me about some of my old coworkers. One went into the hospital right after I was fired and just came back 2 weeks ago. They almost killed her several times at Sacred Heart and she has a lawsuit going against him. Then my old boss- her mom went in for surgery there and they didn't feed her for 2 days- she is diabetic. There were more horror stories than that but now I don't want to deliver there! I don't want them to go in the tie my tubes and remove my intestines instead or something. I don't like that hospital anyways but should I really switch doctors this late? I don't know what to do.

well... bad stories are going to come out of everywhere, but I can't say I would comfortable there. If you were just delivering I would just go wherever I felt like it at the time without switching docs. BUT since you plan to have the histo after.... eeks.
I don't know hun. I suppose its how comfortable you are, but if you can't relax there and trust them, I would consider switching

I would switch if you aren't going to comfortable there. Like Kaytee said, if it was just a delivery and you love your mid wife I'd be fine with it but they're going to do surgery so I'd have to consider some place else

That's my feeling too. I have never wanted to have my baby at Sacred Heart. I am so much more comfortable at McKenzie Willamette. I am going to see what I can do. Maybe they'll deliver over at the other hospital. It is closer to my home anyways.
