Default DVD or Blu-ray?

DVD or Blu-ray, what's your preference? I added a poll and for safety's sake I included an option for VHS. Which do you use, whether it is preference or necessity?

When we got our new cable service installed, I disconnected the VCR and I have no intention of reconnecting it. We have a Blu-ray player (which also plays DVD's) and for me that is good enough. There are a few kids movies still on VHS but I figure I can transfer them if I really want to.

I only recently got a Blu-Ray player since I just got my new Plasma. I have to say, I'll never buy another standard definition DVD again. Blu-Ray is just absolutely amazing.

VHS? What the hell is that? I think I saw one of those in the Smithsonian a few years ago.

I'm not really partial to either because I don't watch much TV. However, our Blu-ray player connects to netflix and that's a great feature.
