My Mood:  Rep Power: 82 Reputation: 289  Children Nichole and Avery |  reconnecting with old friends have you reconnected with old friends that you have found on Myspace or Facebook? Did you meet? How did themeeting go? Dh reconnected with a friend from High school just this week. He's a single dad taking care of his 5 year old daughter now. We went to Chuck e Cheese and let the girls play. Of course they were instant friends lol. It was a good time and DH hadn't seen or heard from him since they graduated.

Most of the time when I do, I wonder why the heck we haven't kept in touch, and sometimes I understand why we lost touch  My new rule with Facebook is if I wouldn't say hi to them if I saw them on the street or they wouldn't say hi to me, then I'm not going to friend them... I read an article recently that stated a person's brain can only handle about 150 friendships and Facebook does not change this... So it's funny when I see someone with like 1000 friends I had a wonderful like 5 hour visit recently with my first best friend from when I was 4. It was so great to catch up.

My closest friends from high school and earlier have been a part of my life already. I have been very fortunate in that regard. Mindy, I also have a rule about Facebook as to who I allow to be my friend. If I do not know a person, they absolutely will not get approved to be friends on Facebook. I am very specific on who I want seeing my profile and even some people that went to school with me but I never knew are not on my list.

I consider everyone here friends as we have been talking a few years now and some of the August moms I got close to. Otherwise I know them IRL in some way.
