She gets so mad, because any time we go to the zoo or anywhere, before we walk in I make her tell me the rules. She'll say "MOm, I'm 6. I know the rules" but I feel like if she were ever actually in that situation she needs to have it drilled in her head on what to do so she doesn't panic. Talking about it one time is not going to do that, you know?

my daughter does the same thing to me, everytime she goes out to play I make her tell me what the rules are and I think it embarrasses her in front of her friends...lol

So what are y'all's rules?

This is something my husband and I haven't started to think about. We've been more concerned with our kids being overly introverted as they both tend to retreat if a stranger approaches them (they are ok if they approach a stranger).

I have no rules yet as mine is to young to explain them too. BUT we have alreayd started talking about bad touch. And I tell her just simply "no one can touch you" and stuff like that. Just very general as she is 2
